Weather and Climate
The climate of Alonissos is similar to the climate of Northern Sporades islands (Skiathos & Skopelos). The Mediterranean climate is characterized by mild winters and often rainfalls. The average annual temperature is 17o C and the average annual rainfall reaches 515mm. Summers are warm to hot with high temperatures. In late July and early August, northern winds come as a breath of fresh air to the island... Not to mention the pine forests on the island that make summertime somehow cooler and much more pleasant!
